On Friday 9th of September, we (class 6b and 6c) visited the excavation site in Windisch. First we went by bike to Windisch. There we could see how the archaeologists in Windisch uncovered and cleaned the things that they found. It was impressive!

We could ask many questions and they were very patient. They had been working for some time and had already found animal bones, glass pieces and metal. But they told us they want to find a roman skeleton, because other archaeologists once found a skull at that location.They don't know where the skull is.Then they thought that they maybe will find the skeleton there. After that we played in the Amphitheater and had lots of fun.

Three weeks later, Miss Schweiger got a message that they found the skeleton and got pictures from it. It was very interesting.We didn't know that a skeleton could last so long! We were happy for them!
